Filipino CPAs are academically competent and flexible in working with multi-cultural colleagues. Having such, we just deserve for this International Movement on professional practice reciprocity. In behalf of the rest of the Filipino CPAs in Riyadh, I strongly support for this cause. Thanks and Mabuhay ang mga Filipino CPAs!

I got CPA in the Philippines and took an MBA degree here in US. My MBA experience during the day before the Accounting exam was all of my Philippine CPA classmate are eating outside and enjoying the night while local classmate are busy studying. My point is USA show us the way by sharing their standards which lead us to follow what they got, accept the standards they build and make it our own standards. BUY their Wiley and Gleim reviewer books, study and answer the same reviewer question before taking the Philippines CPA board exam. It looks like everything is the same, I found difference though. In US CPA you can take each 4 subject one at a time in 2 years (18 months) and doesn't matter how many time you failed as long as you passed the 4 exam within 2 years while Philippines CPA you need to passed 7 subjects in one CPA board exam, if you failed then you need to take all of the 7 subjects again. NOW its about time that they recognized us.

In behalf of PICPA California (San Francisco Chapter); we fully support the PICPA International's MRA move as this will benefit most of the Filipino CPAs working outside of its beloved country, the Philippines. We urgently need the support and approval of our Philippine government in this once in a lifetime opportunity for Filipino CPAs working abroad whom we considered heroes of our present time. To our Honorable President Benigno Aquino Jr.; it is with great pride and honor that our organization, PICPA International and its chapters nation-wide, is with you in upholding the Filipino values, integrity and dedication to achieve greater heights in the accounting and auditing profession. We are looking forward for the fruition of this MRA. Lito Non, President-PICPA California (San Francisco Chapter)
